Hi, I’m Donna Bordeaux with PYOPAccounting.com . Financial preparedness has never been quite as important as it is right now. Many people are starting to realize the value of having a solid accountant on your side. In these times of crisis, we found that sometimes we had to apply for grants, apply for different programs. We had to have the knowledge that those programs existed so we could take advantage of them. That’s what we want to do for you. We helped make sure that all of our clients were ready and willing and able and had all the information that they needed to apply for programs like the PPP loans and EIDL grants and EIDL loans. We’re still watching state programs come about. That requires you to jump through some hoops, to apply for those grants and local issues that are coming up with, economic development boards and chambers of commerce, and different types of grants.

When you apply for these grants, there’s always a load of questions. You have to answer. Many of these now are asking a lot of financial questions. They want to know about the income change from last year to this year, so they can help you make up the difference of any revenue, losses, or net income losses that you may have incurred. They’ll want to know about specific things that happen in your business, what your staffing costs were, what your facility costs are your operating costs in an ongoing manner. If you don’t have someone helping you keep up with what these expenses are and having good, solid financial statements prepared and available at a moment’s notice, you are probably going to miss out on these things. Now, this is not just a one-time phenomenon. I think we’re going to see this continuing throughout the rest of your business life. There are going to be programs that will be modeled after the pandemic programs even going on when this is all done and gone. So if you don’t have even Dixie for, if you don’t have a good solid basis for being financially prepared, please talk to me, and let’s see what we can do to help you and make sure that you’re able to take advantage of every program that’s available to you.
